Giving these homeless dogs a better chance to find their forever family. Addressing the root of the problem by funding spay/neuter and capacity-building programs in the areas with an overabundance of pets. Covering 100,000 miles each year in the quest to find happy homes for homeless dogs from some of the most urgent areas of pet overpopulation.

Emergency Relief In-Kind and Financial Grants and Assistance in Times of Crisis PetSmart Charities provides emergency aid to assist pets in times of hurricanes, fire and other natural catastrophes. We also provide much-needed support for man-made emergencies, including pet hoarders and puppy mill rescues. Last year alone, we donated funding and supplies to provide immediate help for pets affected by 45 natural disasters and cruelty cases.
